The Educator's Oral History Collection represents the combined effort of graduate students and faculty of the UCF College of Education to catalogue the histories of past and current teachers in the Central Florida area. Under the guidance of Dr. Jennifer Deets and Dr. Marcella Kysilka, elementary and secondary teachers, as well as college professors, were interviewed in an attempt to discern the changing nature of local education. Issues such as race, socioeconomic backgrounds, methodologies, resources, and administration were discussed in hopes of chronicling the past and present problems facing educators.
