Series I: Quarterly Report, 1998-2001, provide full details of the activities and achievements of the four branches of the UCF Small Business Development Center. Training records show the type of courses offered by the SBDC, the amount of individuals who participated and the fees charged.
Series II: Training Course Documentation, 1999-2002, contains training records.

Biographical or Historical Information
The University of Central Florida Small Business Development Center was founded in 1980 with the intent of providing current and prospective entrepreneurs with the tools necessary to maximize their business potential. The SBDC aids its clients in the areas of accounting, finance, marketing, operations, new venture planning, and technical support. The UCF chapter was founded in 1981 to service the Central Florida area. There are currently four offices for the UCF Small Business Development Center including three regional centers located at Brevard Community College, Daytona Beach Community College, and Seminole Community College.

Abstract
The UCF Small Business Development Center was founded in 1980-81 to foster the growth of small businesses throughout the Central Florida area. The following are documents encompassing the four branches (Main, Brevard, Daytona, and Seminole) of the SBDC. The collection contains quarterly reports and training course records from the years 1998-2002.

Collection processed by and finding aid prepared by Ryan Groves in 2006. Transferred materials from binders into archival folders. The finding aid was placed into Archon, with adjustments made for Archon and resulting in edition 2, by Mary Rubin in 2015. The acquisition method field and the subjects were updated by Kryslynn Collazo in 2018, resulting in edition 3.
