Scope and Contents
Series I: Student Government Files, 1970-1972, 1996-2002 contains letters, e-mails, memorandum, legal documents, meeting minutes, bills, budgets, the first SGA constitution, and constitutional amendments detailing the activities of the Student Senate, Student Government Officers, and Student Government as a whole on the campus.
Series II: Annual Reports, 1968-2001 contains annual reports from different offices and programs within SDES. Some of these reports provide budgets, detailed reports on their accomplishments, or printed materials such as brochures.
Series III: Divisional Meeting Minutes, 1993-2000 contains agendas, minutes, and handouts from the divisional meetings of SDES.
Series IV: Media, 1988, 1991, 1993-1994, 1996, undated contains VHS tapes, cassettes, and mini data cartridge tapes.
Series V: Publications, 1980, 1988, 1994, 1999-2008, undated contains calendars, newsletters, employee brochures, bookmarks, and reports. Also included in this collection are several manuscript reports from the Undegraduate Studies Project which were submitted to the Journal for Higher Education Management.

Biographical or Historical Information
The division of Student Development and Enrollment Services (SDES) has existed since Florida Technological University opened its doors to students in 1968. It was originally called Student Affairs until 1998 when the name was changed to Student Affairs, Enrollment and Academic Services. In 1999 the name was changed once again to SDES.
This division is headed by the Vice President of Student Development and Enrollment Services and divided into five categories each led by an Associate Vice President. Since the university opened in 1968 this division has included many varied offices including Student Government, the Registrar and Greek Affairs. All divisions of SDES look to support university enrollment and enhance the student experience.

Abstract
The division of Student Development and Enrollment Services began as the Office of Student Affairs when Florida Technological University opened to students in 1968. Since that time the division has overseen the work of various offices and departments on campus dedicated to enhancing the quality of the university as a whole and the quality of the student experience. This collection contains materials about the activities of many of the offices, departments, and programs contained within SDES.
Arrangement Note
This collection is arranged in five series by type of document and folders are arranged alphabetically within each series, with the exception of Series IV: Media which is arranged chronologically.
Method of Acquisition
M. Ehasz transferred these materials to the University of Central Florida Libraries, Special Collection and University Archives in 2006 (CFU2006_42). LaVerne Turner transferred additional materials in 2009 (CFU2009_13). Unknown transferred additional materials in 2008 (CFU2008_15).

Processing Information
Collection processed by and finding aid prepared by Anna Bjornsson in 2008. Materials were removed from folders and binders and placed in acid-free folders. All documents were arranged chronologically in the folders, and the folders were arranged alphabetically within series. The finding aid was updated for consistency among all collections by Mary Rubin in 2012, resulting in edition 2. The finding aid was placed into Archon, with adjustments made for Archon and resulting in edition 3, by Mary Rubin in 2015. Additions from CFU2009_13 and CFU2011_21 were integrated by John Settle in 2015 and resulted in series IV: Media and series V: Publications. The acquisition method field and the subjects were updated along with minor corrections by Kryslynn Collazo in 2018, resulting in edition 5.
