The weeds shown in this book are arranged alphabetically by family and scientific name within family and is primarily aimed at the identification of weeds based upon vegetative structures rather than floral and reproductive features. By referring to the illustrations and the Glossary of taxonomic terminology, the user should be able to confirm the identity of weeds from the photographs and descriptions in the text.
