Biographical or Historical Information
The Campus Activities Board (formerly known as the Program and Activities Council until 1990) is an organization managed by students to provide diverse programs funded by the Activity and Service Fee. CAB works with the Office of Student Involvement to select and coordinate educational and entertainment activities throughout the year. Some of their events include Movies on the Plaza, Monday Knight Football, the International Piano Series, and the Mr. and Ms. UCF Contest.

Abstract
The Campus Activities Board is a student-run organization that organizes educational and entertainment activities funded by the Activity and Service Fee. This collection includes informational brochures, event calendars and advertisements for the Campus Activities Board and related university offices.

Bonnie Ebner transferred these materials to the University of Central Florida Libraries, Special Collection and University Archives in 2005 (CFU2005_09).

Processing Information
Collection processed by and finding aid prepared by Katie Seeler in 2008. Materials were placed in pH neutral folders and boxes. The finding aid was updated for consistency among all collections by Mary Rubin in 2012, resulting in edition 2. The finding aid was placed into Archon, with adjustments made for Archon and resulting in edition 3, by Mary Rubin in 2015. The acquisition method field and the subjects were updated by Kryslynn Collazo in 2018, resulting in edition 4. The collection was previously named Campus Advisory Board before being changed to Campus Activities Board in 2019.
