Biographical or Historical Information
This collection tells about the life of Steven Stein during his time at Florida Technological University (FTU) from 1968-1972. Stein himself was born on December 30th, 1948. He applied for FTU in 1968 as an engineering major and full-time student. He became a member of the student government as a senator in November of 1969. By fall of the same year he had applied for graduation and would go on to graduate later that year. In 1971 he was working as a residential supervisor and was part of the university's Admission & Standards Committee.

The collection contains material from Steven Stein's time as a student, as a member of the student government, and as a resident supervisor at Florida Technological University, now University of Central Florida.

Steven Stein transferred these materials to the University of Central Florida Libraries, Special Collections and University Archives in 2011 (CFU2011_16).

Processing Information
Collection processed by and finding aid prepared by Kyle West in 2018. Rusty staples and paperclips were removed from documents then replaced by plastic paperclips. Any social security number found was redacted. Files were placed in new acid free folders as well as the collection being reboxed.
