Biographical or Historical Information
The fraternity and sorority organizations were founded in 1969 at the Florida Technological University, later known as University of Central Florida in 1978. These organizations abide by their own constitutions and bylaws, as well as rules and regulations. One of the most important events that each organization holds twice a year is Rush Week. Rush Week is a formal recruitment of new members for the different fraternities and sororities. During Rush Week, there are activities and events that allow the potential candidates to get to know each organization and determine which one is the best fit for them.
