Abstract/Description:
Florida's flora is a mixture consisting of plants from four quite distinct regional locations: plants from temperate zones, warm temperate zones, tropical plants and plant species originating in other countries which have been naturalized within Florida's borders. This bulletin discusses geological and climatological factors which have contributed to the establishment of a variety of plant species within the state. Also discussed are Florida wildflowers and their seasonal appearances and some culinary herbs.
