Abstract/Description:: The conference brought together over forty specialists on wildlife for a week long meeting to share information on the diversity, ecology,and management of wildlife in wetlands. The conference was held in both English and Spanish, with simultaneous translation facilities available. It was the goal of the conference and these proceedings to promote further cooperation and transfer of information about wetlands, and so it was decided to publish these proceedings in both English and Spanish.
