Post-fire flowering and fruiting patterns of understory species in the pinelands of Everglades National Park, FL were evaluated. Individual and group patterns were analyzed. A correlation between observed flowering and fruiting patterns with annual climatic fluctuations is discussed. Thirty-six understory species were monitored on five plots on Long Pine Key in the park.
