Journal for the month of September. Entries are written across two pages and include notes on the weather, persons on watch, absences, as well as tasks and repairs completed at the lighthouse.J. J. Murphy left on the 5th only to return on the 8th to pick up his clothes. Mr. Whiting was unable to get to the beacon on the morning of the 12th to put it out. And Mr. Clifford arrived on the 18th with a letter. |
